Reporter: Alex how do you feel that your team played in the Champions League Semi-Final?

Alex Ferguson (AF): We were awful all the way through the game we couldnt string more than three passes together before losing the ball I was not happy with how the team performed and we should have won that game easily. Giggs was hardly in the game and Beckham is injured of course. I think that the only player that really wanted to get to that final was Roy Keane he had a great match and to me was man of the match he was fighting for everything.

Reporter: Why do you think that is?

AF: What why was he fighting to hard to win everything?

Reporter: Yes!!

AF: Ah that was probably because when we won the cup in 1999 he was suspended for the game and so didnt get to play and he really wants to play in a major final so I think that is why he really wanted to get there

* Hernan Crespo signs *

New USSM League manager David Foret has signed Hernan Crespo for a record price of £53 Million from Italian club Lazio. It was a shock move after Crespo had told the Lazio board that he was going nowhere and wanted to see out his contract there. Crespo had later admitted that he knew he was going to be moving but didnt want to upset the board at Lazio. Its now been published that Crespo will be earning about £3 Million a year and this doesnt include the other bonuses that he could get throughout the season.

Manager David Foret admitted that he never thought for a moment that Hernan Crespo would move. We agreed some personal terms with him but then he was still undecided whether he wanted to move or not because of the language difference and the difference in lifestyle that he is used to.

So its happened Hernan Crespo has left Italian giants Lazio and has joined David Forets team for £53 Million a world record deal but will the Argentinian live up to expectations?
